Sunday, February 1st, 2009This is something I’ve thought for a long time. The “anti-establishment” crowd became the establishment long ago. One nice thing — if we start getting really popular Republican punk bands, they’ll stay underground: the media establishment won’t touch them.
Free Speech In Russia
Sunday, February 1st, 2009Another journalist has been assassinated in Russia. This comes at the same time as Bolsheviks are protesting in the streets. This doesn’t look like a good sign for the stability of Russia. Much as I’d like to see journalist-assassinating pseudo-democratic totalitarians like Putin out of office, a return to communism doesn’t seem like the way to go.
