The other day I looked up from the papers I was grading to see one of my students (who doesn’t get the best grades) sitting in a seat that didn’t belong to him, talking to another student (who also doesn’t do very well).
“K,” I said, “What are you doing?”
“Oh,” he said, “I’m explaining to him how to fail.”
