I was reading up on the Gallipoli campaign today on Wikipedia, and ran across an interesting character. I decided to read about him after he was described as performing “a one-man diversion” on the day of the landing at Anzac Cove. His name was Bernard Freyberg, and despite the large number of posh abbreviations behind his name, he was not the type of guy you wanted to pick a fight with.
