There’s an interesting post here about an organization of Canadian musicians who are organizing against the RIAA and the CRIA. Definitely some points to consider there, although I don’t believe that it will do too much good immediately. What would really help would be if bands started refusing to sign with labels that support the industry organizations. If you take away their power, they cease to be a threat to the public.

Habits Of Dress
Wednesday, May 3rd, 2006Harry Hutton has a post up today reccomending a new yet old mode of dress. I agree that in my experience, monks’ habits are quite comfortable on the whole, and the hoods are great. However, I think you want to go for a nicer, newer material than burlap when choosing your habit. Burlap really, REALLY itches.
The comments are definitely worth checking out as well.
