We’ve heard quite a bit about the Vietnamization of Iraq, but it seems that things are now (and more realistically) flowing in the other direction — it’s more likely that we’re going to have the Iraqization of Vietnam. And about time too. (You may notice that the only negative thing that the Vietnamese dissenter has to say about America’s war with Vietnam is that we lost. You can almost hear the anti-war left — predicated as it is upon the ‘evils’ of the Vietnam war — waving and shouting, “pay no attention to the man behind the iron curtain!”)
