The Bush administration has agreed with Israel that Syria bears some responsibility for the recent suicide bombing in Tel Aviv. Western pressure on Islamist governments in the Middle East continues.

One More Argument Against The UN

An international agreement is one thing, but since when do NGOs get a say in it? An agreement between nations is just that, not something to be hijacked by unelected NGOs to serve their own purposes. There is no need to take what would undoubtedly otherwise be productive discussions on the “status of women” and make use it as a tool to leverage change in individual governments involved. Why can’t the governments be allowed to work it out on their own?

If you ever wondered if anyone has ever done a scientific study on IM, they have. None of this really suprises me — I’ve been using IM since we got the internet (I think this was sometime around 1998, but I’m not positive), so I have some experience with it. There are other links at the bottom of the page that are also worth checking out. And once again, the “Top 10 Useless Limbs (and Other Vestigial Organs)” thing. Maybe I should bookmark this site.
