Plague!

As if Congo needed any more bad things to happen to it (besides the U.N.), now there’s an outbreak of pneumonic plague. Ironically, the LAST thing we want to do at this point is to send in the U.N. to try to help with this.

The Judge Wins Out

This is an interesting snippet about the effects of lead in the environment. However, I’d like to see a proposed mechanism for how it messes up the brain before we go conclusively blaming 1/5 to 1/3 of all juvenile crime on it. It’s an interesting corellation, however, and warrants further study.
