How does the media get an interview with someone they seem to imply runs the show in Washington, and then print little more than him saying “I don't do all of that stuff”? I'm guessing there's more interesting stuff in this interview, and it's just not in the Times' interest to print it.

Expect to see more like this from Laura Bush as we close on the election. Teresa Heinz Kerry is looking more and more like she could be a burden to her husband's campaign, and having a level-headed no-nonsense first lady that's popular is likely to help. She can project the side of her husband that the media can't – or won't – cover.
