it really is fascinating how HORRIBLE the situation in iraq is made out to be. from teddy kennedy saying that saddam's torture rooms were merely under new management, to various people insisting that the poor iraqis are suffering under american rule.
i'd really love to send teddy kennedy (and nancy pelosi, and others) the pictures i was looking at yesterday of iraqis digging up mass graves and trying to identify thousands of bodies of people executed by saddam, some of them children. how they can compare something like that to the abuse by a few individuals of a few prisoners (no matter how bad that was) is just amazing.
